Grace Murugi

Grace is a passionate Digital Strategist and the Digital Manager at Safaricom, handling the Brand and Marketing Communication for the Consumer Business Unit and the Enterprise Business Unit. Her mandate is to deliver personalised communications across all digital platforms ensuring that Safaricom remains at the forefront of innovative ad formats as well as ensuring that their content is relevant and well adopted for distribution across relevant channels. In her Masters Program, Grace wrote a Thesis on Influence of Digital Media across companies in Kenya, a paper that has influenced her outlook on Digital Marketing in Kenya. Grace is also a Facebook Ambassador and an avid digital enthusiast. Grace studied Computer Science and started her career as a Web Developer and then later transitioned into Digital Marketing, worked at ScanGroup as a Digital Manager handling Unilever and Kimberly Clark for close to three years and is now heading Digital at Safaricom.
