Eunie Khimulu Nyakundi

Eunie Khimulu Nyakundi is a Senior Marketing & Corporate Communication professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies and initiatives that include brand positioning, traditional, digital and social media marketing, advertising, public relations, social responsibility and experiential marketing in various industries across East Africa.

She is currently the Marketing Leader for IBM East Africathe global technology company that creates innovations that matter for the world and help their clients in their business transformations. She leads the development and execution of the regions Marketing Strategy driven by data insights, client centric priorities to ensure effective outcomes. She has been recognised and awarded in the 2018 IBM Marketing Middle East & Africa Awards for displaying Subject Matter Expertise and for her engagements in growth of the Channel Ecosystem.

Previously she was the Head of Marketing at Resolution Insurance for close to 10 years where she established the Marketing department and created systems to synergize the role of Marketing in the organization. Her team’s efforts led to increased positive brand awareness of the Medical Provider that grew to a Medical Insurer then a full General Insurer. Prior to this she worked in Advertising as an Account Director at Ogilvy Advertising and Senior Account Manager at Tequila\ Advertising.

She holds a Master of Science in Management of Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration.

Eunie is in her 5th year of serving as a Board Member of the Bible Society of Kenya (BSK). She previously served for 6 years as a Council Member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) and as a Mentor in  the Presidential Digital Talent Program (PDTP), an initiative by the Ministry of ICT, Kenya. She was honoured in 2014 to receive the Rising Star Award for the Banking & Financial Services sector.
